In a two run game the Chicago Rastafarians got by the Dominican Republicans by
the score of 7 to 5.
David Dejesus made sure the Chicago fans enjoyed themselves. He lashed a
single in the 2nd inning, tripled knocking in a run in the 3rd inning and
lifted one out of the park for a two run home run (his 1st of the season) in
the 5th inning. Andy Pettitte(1-0) got help from Brad Lidge who pitched
great and earned his 2nd save.
Mike Mussina(1-1) took the loss. It was another victory for Chicago at Minute
Maid Field. Now their winning streak stands at 6 games. 'It seems we can't
lose these days', Stan Halgas volunteered after the game. Then after a
moment to reflect he lamented, 'Oh great! Now I've gone and jinxed us!'
